ZSIC General Insurance Managing Director, Mr. Trevor .Jengajenga, has visited the Company’s Chingola Branch as part of ongoing engagements aimed at strengthening performance, compliance and customer service delivery.
During the visit, Mr. Jengajenga interacted with staff and received a performance brief from Area Manager, Mr. Dan Nkonde.
In his update, Mr. Nkonde indicated that despite a few operational challenges, the branch continues to receive strong business support and has successfully settled most claims, with only a few outstanding.
Mr. Jengajenga acknowledged the temporary invasion of the branch’s trading space by traders, which has arisen due to ongoing works at the nearby market.
He expressed understanding of the situation and assured the team of management’s awareness as efforts continue to maintain smooth operations under the prevailing circumstances.
The Managing Director further emphasized management’s commitment to operating fully within the new regulatory guidelines issued by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA), noting that compliance will be upheld across the entire branch network.
He urged the team to remain customer-focused and to deliberately grow the branch portfolio in 2026 by responding effectively to client needs.
Commenting on the visit, Mr. Jengajenga said, “Our priority is to ensure that every branch operates in full compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering reliable and responsive service to our clients. Chingola has strong potential, and management expects deliberate efforts towards portfolio growth in 2026.”
