ZSIC General Insurance donates toward the fight against COVID 19!

On the 20th of April, ZISC General Insurance were proud to donate over 1,500 bottles of hand sanitizers to the Ministry of Health toward the fight against COVID 19. The Sanitizers were delivered to the Ministry of Health by our Public Relations Officer. As we face this growing global pandemic, we wish to encourage everyone to stay home and to stay safe. COVID-19: ZSIC GENERAL INSURANCE BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN

TO ALL OUR ESTEEMED CLIENTS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS The unprecedented COVID 19 pandemic is having an adverse impact on communities and commerce globally. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those that are directly affected and infected by the virus. In view of this growing threat, we have taken the following precautionary measures as part of our Business Continuity Plan: 1. The number of clients entering our offices at any one time will be restricted, in order to comply with the social distancing requirements. 2. Alternative channels of communication will remain active and available to minimize non-essential face to face interaction. Provision of hand sanitisers / handwashing facilities for clients and staff in all our offices. 4. Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our staff to enable them work safely 5. Limit the number of staff working at all our branches by employing a system where some members of staff will work from home. 6. Sensitization of staff on appropriate conduct to keep themselves and their families safe. 7. Minimize the number of customer / marketing visits that we shall undertake during this period 8. Customers, brokers and agents wishing to make payments may contact the nearest branch to obtain the details of the applicable account number that should be used to deposit or transfer funds. As much as these interventions may have an impact on service, please note that ZSIC GI shall do its utmost best to ensure that there is minimal interruption or delay to normal service. MAZABUKA GOLF TOURNAMENT

In October 2019, we hosted the Mazabuka Golf Tournament which attracted 64 Golfers from Mazabuka and Other towns. The main goal of the event was to afford us an opportunity to interact with some of our customers and also some potential clients. It provided an opportunity for our clients to have a great fun filled day on us. This is just one small way we express our appreciation to our clients for their business support over the years. CHINSALI OFFICE OPEN

As we continue our quest to make our insurance services more accessible we opened up new office in Chinsali l to cater for Muchinga province. Following the declaration of Chinsali as the provincial capital, economic activity has increased and consequently the demand for insurance. DDAC AND PAY AS YOU GO LAUNCHED

ZSIC General Insurance Managing Director Mr. Charles Nakhoze on Wednesday 24 th April 2019 officially launched the Pay As You Go and DDAC payment options. “We are excited to have you here this morning to actualize one of the most important strategy objectives in our Strategic Business Plan 2018 to 2020 which is ‘To Improve Customer Service’. The two payment options will offer clients convenient and affordable options for paying their premiums’’ said Mr. Nakhoze. This was during press briefing held at Premium House, which was attended by the Board Chairman Mr. Justine Chisulo and ZSIC GI members of staff. Mr. Nakhoze further pointed out that in order to effectively satisfy its clients, the company is focused on ensuring that service delivery and convenience are at the heart of the company’s operations. **Direct Debit** or **DDAC** is a payment option that provides clients with an option to pay insurance premium in affordable monthly installments directly from the clients bank account.
