ZSIC GI BAGS 2 AWARDS AT THE 94 TH AGRICULTURE AND COMMERCIAL SHOW

ZSIC General Insurance scooped two awards at the 94 th Agriculture and Commercial Show held in Lusaka from July 27 th to 1st August 2022. The Show was held under the theme “Innovation through Technology – Technology Transforms Businesses”.

Our exhibition and theme interpretation earned us two awards. We were awarded 2 nd prize in the Best Insurance Exhibition with the top prize going to Workers Compensation Fund. We were awarded 3 rd prize in the Best Non-Banking Financial Institution where NAPSA and ZRA scooped first and second prize respectively.

We used the event to showcase technologically based innovations that we have adopted in order to be provide a better customer experience for our customers.

In Agricultural insurance, we highlighted the use of satellite technology in the provision of our Area Yield and Weather crop insurance and the Livestock Weather Index as well.

Our adoption of digital payment platforms such as Mobile Money and Visa, the multi-channel contact centre, RTSA system integration and the QR code were also highlighted.
