ZSIC General Insurance has been successfully onboarded onto the Airtel Money platform, enabling customers to buy insurance services via the platform.
ZSIC General Managing Director, Trevor Jengajenga, joined other industry leaders at the official launch of the Airtel Insurance Hub held in Lusaka this morning.
In his remarks, Mr. Jengajenga emphasized the growing importance of mobile money platforms as a key avenue for expanding access to financial services, with the inclusion of insurance services.
He further noted that the onboarding of ZSIC General Insurance alongside other insurance companies, underscores a collective industry commitment to embracing digital channels that enhance service delivery, improve operational efficiency, and better customer experience.
Insurance via Airtel can be accessed on both the USSD and mobile application.
